Tickets für das Dirkschneider-Konzert in Zagreb, das im Rahmen der „Balls To The Wall – 40th Anniversary“-Tour angekündigt wurde, sind bereits im Verkauf!
Dirkschneider sind weit mehr als nur ein Nebenprojekt von U.D.O. Es handelt sich um eine Formation, die sich auf eine Tour vorbereitet, um dem musikalischen Erbe ihres legendären Sängers zu huldigen. Udo wurde bereits in den Siebzigern als Songwriter und Gründungsmitglied zu einer der zentralen Figuren in der Erfolgsgeschichte von Accept. Auch das neueste Mitglied der U.D.O.- und Dirkschneider-Familie, Bassist Peter Baltes, hat durch seine langjährige Mitgliedschaft bei Accept einen bleibenden Stempel auf dieser Legendenband hinterlassen – gemeinsam mit dem Sänger schuf er das Album „Balls to the Wall“. Die Bühnenpräsenz von Dirkschneider, komplettiert durch Schlagzeuger und Udos Sohn Sven Dirkschneider sowie die Gitarristen Fabian „Dee“ Dammers und Andrey Smirnov, lässt sich tatsächlich nur als „balls to the wall“ beschreiben.
Ein glücklicher Zufall will es, dass das vierzigste Jubiläum des meistverkauften und bekanntesten Accept-Albums, das Ende 1983 erschien, mit dem Höhepunkt des Schaffens von U.D.O. und Dirkschneider zusammenfällt. Deshalb werden Dirkschneider live nicht nur das „Balls to the Wall“-Album spielen, sondern kündigen gleichzeitig mit Begeisterung eine Europatour im Frühjahr 2025 an, mit der sie das Jubiläum dieses Kultalbums feiern wollen! Udo sagte über diese besonderen Daten: „Ich freue mich wirklich riesig darauf, das erfolgreichste Album meiner Band Accept wieder auf die Bühne zu bringen. Die Bühne mit Peter Baltes zu teilen und für euch alle ‚Balls to the Wall‘ in voller Länge zu spielen, ist einer der bedeutendsten Momente meiner Musikkarriere.“
Neben den 45 Minuten, die das Album „Balls to the Wall“ umfasst – mit Kultklassikern wie dem Titeltrack, London Leatherboys, Love Child und der abschließenden Ballade Winterdreams –, werden Dirkschneider weitere Überraschungen einbauen und bei den Konzerten eine komplett neue Bühnenproduktion präsentieren. Alles ist also bereit für die Feier des 40. Jahrestags dieses wegweisenden Albums – und dafür, dass diese Tour kein Metalhead so schnell vergessen wird.

DIRKSCHNEIDER predstavlja mnogo više od drugog projekta uz Udo Dirkschneiderov bend U.D.O. Grupa, koja se priprema za turneju, odaje počast glazbenom nasljeđu njihovog legendarnog vokalista. Udo je bio jedan od ključnih ljudi u priči o uspjehu Accepta kao tekstopisac i osnivač benda 1970-ih.
