Nile sind gerade dabei, die neue Nile-Platte abzumischen, die sie Ithyphallic getauft haben. Es wird das erste Album der Band bei Nuclear Blast. Nile-Mainman Karl Sanders meint, das werde ihre bisher beste Scheibe. Produziert wird die Platte von Neil Kernon.
Auf Ithyphallic landen neun Songs und ein kurzes akustisches Instrumental. Zwei der Songs sind episch lang. Einige der Songtitel: Language of the Shadows, Even the Gods Must Die, The Infinity of Stone, Ithyphallic, Papyrii Containg the Spell to Preserve its Possessor Against Attacks from He who is in the Water.
