Intimate Plan, deutsche Progressive-Metaller aus Stuttgart, haben am 3. 3. 2024 ihr Studio-Debüt „A Surfacing Life“ veröffentlicht.
Das aufstrebende Quintett hat das Album im Eigenvertrieb herausgebracht und sich auch um die gesamte Produktion selbst gekümmert. Den Mix erledigte Sebastian Specht im Studio Bodega Recording, das Mastering übernahm Filippo Passamonti im Studio VDSS Recording.
Das Artwork des Albumcovers steuerte Gitarrist Giuseppe Voci bei, der Hintergrund des Covermotivs stammt aus dem Wirestock-Archiv der Website Freepik, der Kopf auf dem Cover wurde mithilfe von künstlicher Intelligenz erstellt.
Die gesamte Musik auf dem Album hat Gitarrist und Keyboarder Philipp Schleicher komponiert, mit Ausnahme des Stücks Erode, das Gitarrist Giuseppe Voci geschrieben hat. Die Texte fürs Album lieferte Sänger Christian Richard Biemann.
