Derek And The Dominos bekommen zum 50. Jubiläum eine Neuauflage ihres Albums „Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs“ – in einer neuen, erweiterten Version, vollgepackt mit zusätzlichem Material.
Das legendäre Album, auf dem Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Bobby Whitlock, Carl Radle und Jim Gordon zusammenfanden, erscheint am 13. 11. 2020 erneut beim Label UMC/Polydor und wird als vierfaches Vinyl-LP sowie als Doppel-CD erhältlich sein.
Die Vinyl-Ausgabe wurde im berühmten Londoner Abbey Road Studio von Miles Showell im „Half-Speed“-Mastering-Verfahren bearbeitet. Neben dem Klassiker „Layla“ enthält die Neuauflage 13 weitere Tracks, die 1970 aufgenommen wurden. Dazu gibt es eine Doppel-CD sowie ein Booklet mit einem ausführlichen Essay und einem Echtheitszertifikat.
Die erste der beiden CDs der Doppelausgabe enthält das Originalalbum, die zweite das Bonusmaterial.
